Privacy Policy

Blaze.ITM (1001382787 Ontario Inc.) photographs young athletes at hockey tournaments with parental consent. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, how we use it, and your rights under PIPEDA (Canada), provincial privacy law, and COPPA (United States).

1. What we collect. When you place a request we collect your name, email, your child's first and last name, jersey number, team, and game details. If you shop with us we collect a shipping address. Payment card details never touch our systems — Square processes all card payments (PCI DSS compliant). If you use the Blaze Athlete app, we store your child's avatar settings, tasks, and puck points. We never collect your child's address, school, or precise location. Parent identity verification (ID + face match) is performed on-device by a third-party provider; only a pass/fail result and timestamp are stored — never the images.

2. How we use it. To photograph the player you requested, notify you when your sample is ready, deliver purchased photos (including into your child's app gallery, matched by your email), fulfil shop orders, and — only if you opt in — send marketing about upcoming tournaments. Marketing is opt-in (CASL) and every email has a one-click unsubscribe.

3. Disclosure. We never sell or share personal information or children's photos with third parties. Photos are stored in private, encrypted storage and are only ever delivered through expiring signed links to the account that purchased them. Service providers we use: Supabase (database + storage, encrypted at rest), Vercel (hosting), Square (payments), Anthropic (support chatbot — conversations only, no account data).

4. Security. All traffic is encrypted (TLS 1.2+). Data is encrypted at rest (AES-256). Photos of minors are never public: private buckets, 15-minute signed URLs, access gated per account. Staff access is scoped to their assigned arena and every action is audit-logged.

5. Your rights. You can access and correct your and your child's information from the parent portal or by emailing us. You can delete your account at any time; all data — including photos — is purged within 30 days. If a data breach ever occurs we will notify the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as soon as feasible (our internal standard is within 72 hours) and contact affected families directly, as required by PIPEDA's breach-of-security-safeguards rules.
6. United States customers. For families ordering from the US: we honour the same access, correction, and deletion rights regardless of state. Children's data is handled per COPPA — we collect a child's name and jersey number only with verifiable parental consent (the parent places every request), and we never knowingly collect data directly from children under 13 on this website. California residents may exercise CCPA/CPRA rights (know, delete, correct, opt out of sale — we do not sell personal information) by emailing us.
7. A note on HIPAA. Being straight with you: HIPAA does not apply to Blaze.ITM. HIPAA governs health-care providers, insurance plans, and their processors — we are a photography company and collect no health information. Our actual obligations come from PIPEDA and CASL (Canada), Ontario provincial law, and COPPA plus state privacy laws such as CCPA/CPRA (US) — and this policy is written to meet those.

Terms of Service

By placing a photo request or purchasing from blazeitm.com you agree to these terms.

Requests. Individual requests must be submitted before the game. Submitting a request costs nothing and carries no obligation — you decide after seeing your sample at the booth. Samples are viewed in person only; no digital previews are sent.
Pricing. Poster A $70 · Posters B/C/D $100 · second print of the same collage −$20 · frame $40 · team prints $45 each or $35 each at 10+ · championship photo $25 with a same-weekend team order · late orders +$25. Prices in CAD; HST (13%) applies. Payment by cash, debit, credit, or EMT.
Products. All sales are final once approved and printed. Spelling is confirmed with you before printing; reprints after confirmation are charged at full price. Slight colour variation from screens is normal — no reprints for colour differences. Any damage after delivery is the client's responsibility. The final edited collage file is company property; raw images can be shared on request with purchase. Blaze.ITM selects the best images for the product. Photos are only available for players whose parents placed a request before the game.
Late orders. Orders placed after our team has left the venue carry a $25 late fee and take 2–4 weeks to process. Provide the tournament name and date, team and division, product type, and print count. Late orders are paid by EMT or credit card online only; shipping, if needed, is billed by order volume and weight.
Returns. No returns, no exchanges, no refunds. Every product is custom made to order from your player's photos and cannot be resold. You approve your sample in person (photography) or your cart at checkout (shop) — that approval is final.
Shipping. Shop merchandise ships in 5–7 business days: $12.99 flat within Canada (free over $200 CAD), $18.99 to the US (free over $250 USD). Photography print orders are pickup-only under $200; at $200+ shipping is available and billed by volume and weight.
